PRESENTATION BOARDS

PROJECT ONE - A

SYNOPSIS - REACTION PAPERS

Three readers were assigned to us in relation to the theme that has been discussed during the lecture. While producing the reaction paper, we had to identify the key points that are highlighted in the text and emphasize personal thoughts and perspectives on the issue raised through the readers.

PROJECT TWO

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ESSAY

For this project, we were required to compare two streets based on the findings from case study (Project 1) and our local site research (Studio V project). Similarities and dissimilarities based on the following aspects were determined and the points were supported by photographs and diagrams.

REFLECTION

Throughout this module, I learnt to analyze theoretical issues related to street and urban designs through the study and readings from different urban planner. By analyzing and studying their ideas and theories, I was able to relate and apply the theories into our case study and site study street. Through identifying the contact points and contact intensity of the streets, I learnt to analyze critically and pointed out the importance of the relationship between urban planning, architecture with its social, cultural and intellectual context and how all these aspects was important to contribute to the walkability and sustainability of the city nowadays.
